This bar won a silver medal at the 2025 Academy of Chocolate awards! Made with cacao from Costa Esmeraldas Cacao Co. orchard in Esmeraldas, Ecuador. Topped with Big Island grown roasted Macadamia Nuts and Alaea Red Hawaiian Sea Salt. This crunchy, sweet and salty treat is sure to delight.

Valley Isle Chocolate is a bean-to-bar chocolate company established in 2021 on the island of Maui.  Valley Isle Chocolate is a family business that we started in our home kitchen. After long years of friendship and living and working apart, we all followed a dream of living on Maui to enjoy the natural beauty of the island and work with plants and food. We began experimenting with small batches of chocolate made simply by hard work and fine ingredients. At Valley Isle Chocolate, we are passionate about crafting premium chocolate that showcases the unique flavors of Hawaiian cacao and ingredients. We are currently sourcing new and exciting cacao origins and planting an orchard in Hana.
We take pride in using only the finest ingredients to create our chocolate. Our chocolate has it's foundation in the rich, aromatic cacao beans that we source from Hawaii and around the world. Each step in our process is meticulously handled to ensure the highest quality. Our bean-to-bar process allows us to maintain complete control over the production. We roast, refine and temper all our cacao and chocolate in small batches, ensuring that every bite of our chocolate is a true reflection of the dedication and love we pour into our craft.
As a family-owned business, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting local businesses. Our sales have grown from the seed of local support selling at the Kō Mahi'ai Mākeke Farmers Market in Kihei to over 50 stores around Hawaii and Mainland USA. As we grow, our roots in Maui inspire us to give back and contribute to the community that has nurtured us. We are dedicated to sustainable practices and fostering relationships with growers based in Hawaii to ensure that our chocolate not only delights the senses but also helps to support the well-being of our island home.
