Jewelry FAQ's

Each piece of Wings Hawai'i jewelry is hand-crafted, often with rare and/or unique beads, shells and components and requires delicate handling.

After each wear, gently wipe with a soft jewelry cloth and store in a jewelry box. Please note that many of our pieces are made with wire-wrapping techniques, which should be delicately handled and stored in an appropriate setting.

All Metals can tarnish over time when exposed to chemicals, such as but not limited to pool and sea water, hair spray, perfume, sun screen and lotions. It's recommended to put your jewelry on last to minimize the contact with these chemicals.

Cleaning can be done with warm soapy water and a toothbrush. Toothpaste can even brighten up dull metals. A PEARL SAFE jewelry cleaner can be used on all jewelry. Soaking in any cleaner should only be done for short periods of time, NEVER leave it!! and do not soak pieces containing Porcupine Quills, those are intended to be kept dry.
