For The Love Of Summer

For the sun-kissed lovers, for the free spirits, and for the love of summer.

Maybe it is the tropical backdrops and vacation state of mind or...maybe it is just the summer heat. Whatever it is, Maui is the perfect place to create memories with that special someone. And while you could totally ask us why, we think that it is more fun for the both of you to discover for yourselves! So wander to some of the island’s more romantic spots and soak in each precious moment.

Poli Poli
With the dramatic island view and the lush greenery, Poli Poli is one of our favorite places to escape with our lovers. Whether it is walking hand in hand on an early morning stroll through the Alii Kula Lavender Farm or watching clouds drift by on an afternoon picnic in one of the grassy fields, you are sure to create some wonderful memories here. And if you are lucky, you might just catch a glimpse of pastel shades of sunset before the upcountry mist settles in for the night.

Sugar Beach
There is nothing more romantic than a Hawaiian sunset, except for maybe one on the water! Perfect for those beach bums who enjoy gentle tandem surfing, leisurely paddle boarding, or even just cuddling up on the sandy shore, Sugar Beach is one of the Maui beaches that offers a quiet and romantic sunset view. So if you are looking to get some sugar for yourself, we suggest planning a fun afternoon dip and watch as the sun kisses the horizon goodnight.

Haleakala National Park
Green upcountry picnics and stunning beach sunsets are both wonderful ways to enjoy a little Hawaiian romance but if you are looking for something a little out of the tourist books, we suggest making your way up the slopes of Haleakala. With an uninterrupted view and absolutely no light pollution, this is the best place to watch the stars. While sunrise on the summit is a breathtaking experience, it is pretty hard to beat a stargazing date!

Falling in love with Hawaii is fairly easy with the natural beauty alone but what makes it even more is the company that you experience it with. After all, we know that the sun-kissed cheeks and sandy feet with eventually fade away but the loving memories are here to stay. Where is your favorite Maui spot for a lover’s retreat? Pop on over to our Paia boutique and share with us!
